Taos is a special place to spend a portion of your life.
Taos houses 117 members ranging from freshmen to faculty with about 1/3 of its population being international. At Taos you will have the opportunity to meet friends and learn about different cultures from around the world. In addition to Taos diverse membership, the building itself offers opportunities for diverse activities.
The five-story building boasts views of the UT tower and the Capitol dome, as well as easy access to restaurants and shops on the Drag. Taos is equipped with a computer lab, a workout room, a game room with a pool table and arcade games, a TV room and a sundeck. While double and single rooms occupancy suites that are separated by suite bathrooms.
Although Taos is more than just a building, Taos is a community of people who take care of each other. Taos is a safe place to grow and change as a person. You will laugh, cry, learn, teach, share, and change.
Like other College Houses facilities, Taos offers its members 17 hot, home-cooked meals per week in its large communal dining room. Taos members also enjoy many educational and leisure time activities including intramural sports, co-op baseball (Taos is the home of the Mighty Corndogs Baseball Team) and camping.

The ideal Taosian is anyone who will respect other members and do their labor. Taos as a house is proud to accept most applications that come before us, without an interview.
